Meet Our Chefs Kyoto has been open since 2002 and the success of Kyoto has everything to do with our skillful, fun, loving chefs. At Kyoto's Experiences, we attribute much of our success to the team that has made us who we are today — namely our chefs. Each of our chefs brings a unique background and set of talents to the table, drawing from past experiences in the restaurant industry, inspiration from mentors, and even the familiar tastes of Kansas to preset great sushi and entertaining, tasty hibachi dishes that you won’t find anywhere else.
